Admission to Primary School 2025
If your child already attends a school and you would like to request a change of school then you will be required complete an In Year Transfer Request. Forms can be completed online by following the link.

Nursery Admissions
At Falla Park Community Primary School we have 3 and 4 year old provision which all children can access as part of the universal entitlement to 15 hours of nursery provision per week during term time. We also offer 30 hours for those parents with an eligibility code. There are different patterns of attendance available including full days.
We also have 2 year old provision for those children who are eligible. We have provision in either mornings or afternoons. Parents will be required to show proof of eligibility before a place can be offered. Eligible 2 year old children are able to access 15 hours of nursery provision per week during term time. Free early education and childcare for two year olds - Gateshead Council
Falla Park Community Primary School is responsible for setting its own Nursery Admissions Policy. We aim to have a fair and consistent admissions procedure, particularly when there are more applications than places available. Further information can be found in our Nursery Admissions policy (see Policies section).
If you would like to place your child onto our nursery admission list, please call into the main school office.
Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
The school is fully accessible to children with physical difficulties.
The following facilities are available for children and their parents/carers with physical difficulties:
- Disabled parking bays
- Ramped access to parts of the building
- Accessible toilets
- Induction loop for hearing aid users
- Accessible dining area
- Disabled lift facility for access from KS1 to KS2 area
A risk assessment carried out and personal evacuation plan will be drawn up for all children with physical difficulties. All staff working with the child will be made aware of the plan.
